Multimodal freight forwarding

Every mode, one operator, one chain of accountability.

Skif Cargo forwards cargo to Ukraine by sea, air, rail and road from China, the EU, the US and Turkey. We choose the mode — or the combination of modes — that fits your cargo, budget and deadline, and run the whole shipment under a single manager and a documented chain of custody.

What's included

All four modes

Sea (FCL and LCL), air (standard and express), rail and road — selected and combined to balance cost against transit time.

Door-to-door or port-to-port

We take the shipment from the supplier’s gate to your door, or cover only the legs you need.

Consolidation at origin

Own and partner warehouses in China, the EU, the US and Turkey consolidate part-loads before dispatch.

One manager, end to end

A single point of contact owns freight, customs, sourcing and payment for your shipment.

How it works

  1. Brief & quote

You send cargo, weight, volume, origin and deadline; we return a route plan and indicative cost.

  2. Pickup & consolidation

We collect from the supplier and consolidate at the origin warehouse.

  3. Main carriage

Cargo moves under tamper-evident seals with live position monitoring.

  4. Customs & delivery

We clear customs in Ukraine and deliver to the final address.

Frequently asked questions

Which mode is cheapest from China?
Sea freight has the lowest per-kilogram cost for large or non-urgent loads; rail is the middle ground; air is for urgent or high-value cargo. We model all three against your deadline before you commit.
Can you combine modes in one shipment?
Yes. Multimodal routing — for example rail to an EU hub then road into Ukraine — is often the best balance of speed and price, and we coordinate every leg under one contract.
Do you handle both full and part loads?
Both. Full containers (FCL) and consolidated part-loads (LCL groupage) are quoted side by side so you can see the trade-off.
