Customs consulting & classification

Get the code, the duty and the terms right before you ship.

Most clearance problems and overpaid duty start before the cargo moves — with the wrong commodity code or the wrong delivery terms. Our customs consulting fixes that up front: correct UKT ZED classification, duty optimization, Incoterms advice and a clear view of the permits your goods will need.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the UKT ZED code matter so much?
The code sets the duty rate, the VAT and which permits apply. A wrong code means overpaid duty or a stopped shipment — getting it right before you order avoids both.
Can you lower my duty legally?
Often, yes — through correct classification, the right Incoterms and use of available preferences. We only ever use lawful, defensible methods.
Do you advise on Incoterms?
Yes. The delivery term decides who pays for carriage, insurance and clearance and where risk passes; we recommend the term that fits your deal. See our Incoterms 2020 guide.
